About the vacancy:

COOMBES is seeking a POS Representative to support work at weekends or bank holidays, joining us on an ad hoc basis under a zero-hours contract.

‍

Working alongside our in-house On Track Plant team, you will help to deliver safe plant operations for a wide range of maintenance and enhancement projects along the railway. Taking responsibility for the onsite management of OTP operations, you’ll act as the point of contact to ensure that all works are delivered safely and efficiently, on time and to budget.

‍About you:

You will have a good understanding of the POS Safe Works planning process and will have a solid understanding of the standards and regulations required to ensure the safe operation on Plant on track.  You’ll hold PTS and will have prior experience of acting as a POS rep in a similar company.

‍

Your clear communication skills will enable you to engage with everyone on track to ensure that work is carried out safely and efficiently. Acting as the COOMBES onsite representative, you’ll be able to maintain good working relationships with clients and subcontractors at all times. And you’ll be happy and able to deliver Toolbox Talks and briefings to operational teams prior to the start of works.

To support operations you will be willing to travel to operational work sites as required.
